Logo Design and meaning behind Wanderpal
I choose the app name, “Wanderpal” because travellers roam around different areas to seek new adventures and I combine the word, “pal” to show that people are looking to find someone they can travel with while travelling around the world.My logo is a circle because it has a good symbolic meaning to represent a sense of belonging to the community, friendship and continuity of travelling around the world.
I wanted to include blue and green in my logo design because they represent trust and serenity. The logo is meant to look modern and sophisticated.
UNIQUE FEATURES
For those who struggle to make friends while travelling alone to different places, my app is mobile friendly, easy to use to help travellers make friends online. Travellers from around the world can leave reviews online about their travel destination and let other online users join their travel plans!

GPS will allow users to track their past travel histories and search nearby local location that are popular to visit. Users can track other users’ location whether they allow permission to share their current location with their friends or relatives to ensure their safety of their whereabouts
PROFILE VERIFICATION
New users will always have to verify their account to ensure their profile matches their photos. It is important for users to get their account verified to be able to connect with other travellers online that have a checkmark to ensure that their profile is true to themselves and no one is catfishing anyone online. I want my mobile app to have a safe and positive community.
